Overview of Vehicle Data lookup
Dragon2000 can provide you with a 'live' lookup of
vehicle data from a source updated with information from both the
DVLA and the manufacturers of the vehicles themselves, via the SMMT.
Using this service can help you in the following ways
- Update existing vehicle records by simply clicking
the 'DVLA' icon
- Print data lookup reports showing all details on
file for any registration
- Value a vehicle by simply inserting the Registration
number (subject to CAP and/or Glass Valuation Subscription through
Dragon2000)
- Create a new stock record by supplying nothing
but the Registration number
- Create a service booking or service job by simply
inserting the Registration Number
- Lookup and update vehicle records by entering Registration
number, or at least eight characters of the Chassis Number
Frequently Updated
The data is very up to date. When a vehicle is registered
in the UK it will then show on our system the following day. Any
cherished plate changes are loaded weekly.
All keeper changes, and other DVLA sourced data is
then up dated monthly eg scrapping, exported and imported vehicles
etc.
Checked, Double-checked, Triple-checked...
We strongly believe that the database which is now
available to you through your Dragon2000 system is the most accurate
and up to date vehicle database available in the UK.
Every entry in the database is checked in the following
ways
- Carry out VIN length tests
- Match historical MVRIS daily registration
- Cross reference DVLA to SMMT generic coding data
- Cross reference to SMMT Motorparc data
- Carry out VIN decoding to verify make, model, spec,
model year, source of manufacture etc
- Cross reference to other generic coding systems
- Cross check to other third party databases
- Carry out logic and sense check processes based
on historical information held by the SMMT
